Do you have a source on it?
It was on iranian tv reading statement from IRGC, more should come out in a few hours.
There is also this, this is about 2 hours old now. 1 pm Iran local.
Iranian Defense Council statement:
The only way for non-belligerent countries to cross the Strait of Hormuz is to coordinate with Iran.
The Dimona nuclear reactor was struck in response to the aggression against the Natanz nuclear facility, and previously, Iran had also proven its commitment and determination to apply the Quranic principle of "retaliation in kind" in response to the attack on the energy infrastructure in Asaluyeh. The Defense Council also reaffirms its commitment to a decisive and crushing response to any attack on energy facilities and infrastructure, and insists on implementing it without any delay.
It is also worth noting that any attempt by the enemy to attack Iranian coasts or islands will inevitably lead to the Mine planting of all access routes and communication lines in the Persian Gulf and its coasts with various types of naval mines, including floating mines that can be launched from the coasts. In this case, the entire Persian Gulf will witness a situation similar to that of the Strait of Hormuz for a long time, where it will be effectively closed along the Strait of Hormuz, and the responsibility for this will rest on the threatening party.
The historical failure of more than 100 minesweepers in removing a limited number of naval mines in the 1960s is still present in memory and has not been forgotten.
By communication lines they mean undersea internet cables
A news host on the tv said unconfirmed reports say that Iranian navy has set 2000 mines along the strait.
2000 seems aloooooooot, prob not accurate.
False flag, probably.
Just like it now seems the attack on Diego Garcia didn't happen at all which could explain why Israel ran so fast with it, infographic and all whle they deny the effects of every other attack
I have been iffy on that claim since the start, then immediately saw israel and others giving it huge coverage, and concluded that yep this was false flag.
Look at what Kier is saying now:
There is no assessment that we are being targeted in that way at all.
It could be that they took shots at the CSG in the ocean and overshot?
