Pakistan is still attempting , with Turkey, Saudi, and Egypt pitching in. I will note that they tried to do this before the war, offering to help Iran negotiate with the US, but Iran said no and asked Oman to facilitate instead.
I had a feeling back then that Iran wanted to do a deal that would make some of those countries unhappy, hence the refusal. Turns out, this was completely true and Iran capitualted on the nuclear program.
