I think iran is indirectly telling atleast Jordan to stop defending israel , prob telling usa too but that wont happen.
Hell they are unconfirmed reports that Planes from Cyprus base are flying defense for israel

It might be the Andreas Papandreou Air Force Base in Cyprus. US jets could be flying out there to defend Israel.

My point is that the mockery and derission is unwarranted and at points it starts to sound just like the anglos. Yes, Iran made a massive fuck up among many before and they refuse to learn in that they kept thinking the west negotiates in good faith. But thats a mistake China has also been caught doing.

As for the security apparatus, it might the best thing ever but no system is infalible 100% of the time and thats the point I'm trying to make. My escenario is convoluted?

Sure, but the same would be said about the pager attack if someone commented on it before it happened.

And even Hamas could smuggle weapons building materials under the nose of the israelis and their prison-like control of Gaza. A highly motivated state-backed actor can achieve a lot.

I'm not understimating China's state aparatus in the least nor criticizing it(I do criticize Chinas foreign policy) what I AM being critical of is of certain attitudes and sense of superiority that have gotten people killed in the past
Fair and logical point. My apologies for getting a little emotional with my preceding rebuttal.

After the Advisory IDF gave out about not filming strikes/uploading, they are now actively stopping people from doing it.

The Allure of the west, its apparent 'wealth' and the 'right' is strong for folk.

TRUEEEEEE, neoliberal, milk-toast cucks are the worst.

Meanwhile Israel:
Israel loves dishing it but sure as hell can't take it. Then the best way is to keep attacking it and force it on the defense so it can't attack you coz its fully occupied.

This is a great point! I have my doubts on the strength of Iranian anti-ship missiles though, especially the claim to be able to sink a carrier. Sinking a carrier is kind of like the holy grail of achievements in modern anti-ship warfare.

China has spent tremendous sums of money and talent on solving this problem and has come up with a layered system to do so. Iran just doesn't have the electronic warfare, remote sensing or layered anti-surface warfare systems to guarantee such an outcome. Certainly it could be possible, but in no way is it guaranteed.

EDIT: Is the Israeli play to try and draw the US into this conflict on their side?
I don't think Iranian ASM tech matters other than it works. The real problem is geography - all of Iran's population and economic centers are far from the Persian Gulf and Arabian Sea coast, so to hit them effectively, even carriers have to enter the Gulf, a constrained body of water with a 20 km wide exit.

China has a much higher bar - to win a blue water battle outright. China is not depending on the opponent to sail into the Taiwan Strait.
