It was copy of russia drozd ,during fighting in donbas in 2015 ,russia tank fitted with drozd successfully intercepted ukraine at5 atgm.this prompt the ukraine to ask for javelin.

Do you have a link to back that claim? Because the confirmed Drozd tanks deployed in Ukraine I know of were in 2022, and it didn’t go very well for them. Photos from March showed prototypes of the T80UM2 with the turret sitting upside down inside the hull. If anything the limited evidence is that until 2022 none of the Russian APS systems were actually ever fielded other than a claim of Afghanistan on older tanks but often without citations.

HJ-73 is dirt cheap and still useful in taking out fortified position.
I suppose it keeps the design and prototyping teams busy between actual projects and who knows, one day some country might even buy it.
