The VU-WI (VU2) wheeled ground unmanned platform weighs 0.7T and has a load capacity of 0-3T. It adopts a six-wheel independent drive mode and realizes remote control/semi-autonomous control of the platform through wireless communication. The platform can be placed on vehicles or platforms such as armored vehicles and mobile command pods to realize a wide range of maneuvering with the team, and at the same time, it can carry VU1A through the piggyback mechanism to realize the cooperative operation capability of the three types of platforms. After reaching the mission site, it can realize rapid remote control maneuvering within a certain visual distance or close non-direct vision range. The VU2 has autonomous following capability and can autonomously follow the guide to realize the autonomous accompanying function, and at the same time, it can realize the autonomous operation of the VU2 after loading the map to realize semi-autonomous patrol and minimize the dependence on people.

VU-T10 tracked ground unmanned combat platform is a new type of equipment widely demanded internationally, with a combat full weight of 11T, the advantages of large carrying capacity, wide environmental adaptability, high cross-country maneuvering speed, its comprehensive combat technology indicators are more compatible with traditional combat vehicles, and can flexibly carry large-caliber machine guns, multi-spectrum reconnaissance systems and other diversified combat mission loads, relying on unmanned information systems embedded into the active equipment charge system, can carry out coordinated operations with manned equipment in complex terrain conditions in the field, complete forward reconnaissance and surveillance, firepower strike missions, both communication relay, material transport, and non-war operations in security and vigilance, anti-terrorism and stability maintenance and other diversified capabilities, and in the new urbanized warfare rely on its mobile and flexible, personnel safety characteristics to make up for the shortcomings of traditional heavy equipment.

The VU-T2 tracked ground unmanned combat platform, with a total combat weight of 1.8T, can be formed into a manned / unmanned combat unit integrating mobility, reconnaissance, obstacle breaking, firepower and support. It makes full use of the unique small, fast, flexible, intelligent and fierce characteristics of the unmanned platform, adopts remote control / autonomous control, and flexibly implements the transportation deployment, reconnaissance maneuver, automatic tracking, environmental situation awareness and attack of unmanned vehicles, It can quickly and covertly enter the attacker's stand, quickly lock the target and attack the enemy under the support of its strong target reconnaissance ability and firepower attack ability, synchronously and accurately guide long-range, air and other firepower to carry out rapid and accurate attack on the target, and carry out approach reconnaissance, concealment, patrol and surveillance, vigilance, attack guidance, precision attack, firepower support Search, eliminate and coordinate operations and other diversified tasks in the whole process, greatly reduce casualties, expand the scope of reconnaissance and attack, improve our own firepower attack efficiency, form an asymmetric mobile assault advantage against the enemy, realize the overall leap of ground assault combat capability, and make up for the deficiency of traditional heavy equipment.

The VN17 tracked infantry fighting vehicle is an all-electric driven unmanned turret characterized by high protection performance and large ammunition-carrying capacity. Its 30 mm chain gun is the main weapon, equipped with new vehicle-mounted anti-tank missiles, 7.62 mm parallel machine guns, 76 mm smoke grenades three auxiliary weapons and a new fire control system with day and night observation and image stabilization for striking targets such as armored vehicles, earthworks, living forces and improvised fire points, realizing observation, aiming and firing under dynamic conditions of the vehicle, adapting to the military needs of emergency mobile operations and rapid deployment of forces. The exhibiting process is demonstrated dynamically.

The UW5 30 mm unmanned turret integrates multiple types of weapons, "hunter-fighter" type fire control and interception type active protection, and has good firepower striking capability, armor protection capability and battlefield situational awareness capability. The unmanned turret adopts highly reliable bulletless chain supply technology, two-way stable fire control system, intelligent self ground-seeking missile, and modular change design to realize the comprehensive characteristics of unmanned turret such as diversified firepower, intelligent striking and modular function. The unmanned turret highlights the characteristics of multi-function, high protection, expandable and high cost-efficiency ratio, and reflects the advantages of high degree of digitization, informatization and intelligence of the product, and can adapt to various complex battlefield environments. The unmanned turret is equipped with VN22 infantry fighting vehicle for static display.

For the UW5 turret it has APS, we can see the dual packed hard kill launchers on both sides but i don't see mm wave radars mounted on the sides, how does it detect income projectiles?

Small missiles and anti-tank missiles have a speed of several hundred meters per second, it can be detected by optical devices, the computational system can make a decision in milliseconds and the APS will intercept it.

Or maybe it doesn't have APS after all. One would expect they'd mention such a big item in their promotional blurb. Yet it was not mentioned in the text. Perhaps there are some other uses for those rotating canisters on top. Not sure I can think of any good one but who knows. Would IR or radar decoys for some reason be more sensible if employed in such precision that they require directed launchers, independent of the turret?

i don't think i agree with that.

so far looking at all the available APS systems on the market none of them uses any kind of optical devices for detection or tracking

Russian Arena - Doppler radar
Israeli Trophy - AESA
US Quick Kill - AESA
US Iron Curtain - Radar
Russian Afghanit - mm radar

Hence why i was trying to identify a radar panel of some sorts placed around the turret.

Also assuming if it's optical only, looking at the current optical sensor positions on the UW5 turret, i don't think it can provide 360 degrees coverage.

I believe it has been mentioned in a post above, on the promotional flyer:

...The UW5 30 mm unmanned turret integrates multiple types of weapons, "hunter-fighter" type fire control and interception type active protection....

That's interesting, so you are saying instead of using kinetic projectors as hard kill measures, it's instead going to launch decoys. it could be a possibility but then again it circles back to the question of how do you detect and track the incoming projectile in order to judge when or where to initiate your counter measures?

I think the radars simply aren't installed for this show. The APS launchers might be mockups only. That's the only explanation I have. Maybe the system wasn't ready in time or for some reason they didn't bother to install a real one.
