It's interesting to watch Indian news channels right now, to see how Indian media is reacting.

If you look at NDTV they are citing the FP article, and starting to raise questions on India's claims:

But Times Now (which is like India's Fox News, and the most popular news channel) is still claiming they shot down a Viper, lol. I just saw their livestream.

I won't be surprised if most Indians continue to believe they shot down a Viper.

So far, Indian channels are repeating the following in response to FP's Viper count report:
  1. "Whastapp videos" of eye witness accounts of people claiming they saw multiple parachutes
  2. US is biased and doesn't want to admit a loss of Viper to Bison
  3. US may not have counted all the Vipers, specifically the ones the PAF bought from Jordan (Block 15 version A/B)
  4. IAF intercepted "radio chatter" indicating loss of Viper
  5. Pakistan initially denied using Vipers
  6. Official statements from US officials contacted by Indian media have not verified FP's claims yet
... It's fun to watch them play mental gymnastics to try and avoid the obvious here. The funniest thing is that their own pilot is refusing to confirm he shot down anything. Abninandan, who we returned to India, has refused to give any statement since he has come back to India. And the IAF claimed that he was the one who got the kill before being shot down.

India should have fired ballistic missiles or ICBM (Agni etc..) on terrorists camps in Pakistan instead of sending 12 fighter jets to bomb terrorist camps.

Sophisticated big missile would have hit the target when fighter jets had to come back in hurry when Pakistan air force arrived.

Honestly India needs to just show all the evidence they have on everything, if they have. This is the type of denial and dishonesty you’d expect from palestine not a country of 1.3 billion.

And also saying that US doesn’t want to admit an F-16 was shotdown is just stupid. It would be easy to pin the blame on a bad “pakistani” pilot (like people immediately did with the MAX incident).

New Delhi (Sputnik): The Indian Air Force has rejected a report by Foreign Policy saying that no Pakistani F-16 jet was downed on 27 February, explaining that a MiG-21 had shot down a PAF aircraft, noting that it was later identified as an F-16 by electronic signatures.

“They were intercepted by IAF Su, Mirage, and MiG-21 fighters guided by ground radars and AWACS. All attempts of [the] PAF to attack any target was thwarted by the IAF. During the aerial engagement that followed, one MiG-21 bison of the IAF shot down one F-16 in Nowshera sector”, the IAF said in a statement obtained by Sputnik.

They could've made the lie easier to believe had they said that Mirage-2000 or Su-30MKI did it but nope, they insist on people believing that an antique Bison did the deed. Not even good at lying.

Have you guys had some time to pay defenseforumindia a visit? All those guys will disagree with this :p It's funny how the world's biggest free democracy with its awesome free media and well informed unbiased people can be so much worse than their supposed antagonists who live in a "communist sh*thole" with constant brainwashing and propaganda :D
