Ok so India now flys a twin engined Mig21?

Only country in world history to refit 2 engines

The other crashed aircraft had 2 engines

Anyway Pakistanis don’t need to prove anything or convince anyone

JF17 downed two leading Indian aircraft during red alert situation

Suck it up simple

Take this as a warning ... NO posting of unproven things as facts and you know that so far there is

- no proof, that a Su-30MKI was downed (all images showing a twin engine wreck were either false or in the end unconclusive).
- there no proof that a F-16 was downed.

STOP this

I’m sorry but you do not know any more than anyone else unless you have been working for the intelligence services

Which I know your not

Hence I am entitled to my view

Someone saying it wasn’t shot down has to also provide evidence otherwise what’s the difference

Anyway I agree we should stick to JF17 developments since this thread is already way deverted

No air force down grades pilots without any reason---they always are graded up if the performance is good-

Who says it was a down grade?
And Pilots regularly transition between aircraft. A fighter pilot today can be retrained to be a Transport driver tomorrow. What decides this is bilet. People make this mistake all the time. They think you get into the military and spend all your life in the same job. No that's not what happens. Military officers don't just get promoted and keep the same job they compete for there positions. They compete by schools, mission successes accolades and more that place them closer to the top postings. It's not the aircraft the aircraft belongs to the squadron. What bird you fly is based on what squadron you are in and what bilet is open.
If you are promoted but the squadron you are in doenst have an open bilet for your new rank that can dead end your career so you would be offered positions IE other postings that have openings you are qualified for.
That can mean moving from say a J20 Squadron XO to a JF17 Squadron CO.
Would it mean retraining? Yes. But it's not like going back all the way to the basics.
That's why you see two seaters and flight simulators and flight trainers.

No sir, and you know exactly how much you are wrong. You cannot claim on the one side, the PAF made a MKI-kill based on some secret information only you have and demand if we think contrary, we should provide a proof for a no-kill, while at the same time say, India did not made their claimed F-16 kill - again based on your source - and demand we must deliver proof that there was one, just as it fits your agenda.

Deino Wrong again

You cannot tell what i believe or not by reading by posts

Indian media even claimed Su30 MKI was lost in thier opening statements the wreckage fell into India the Mig21 in Pakistan

We all know how bias they are plainly lying to people’s face and world media

India did a cover up, are you saying governments don’t cover up especially India who claimed Taiwan missile belonged to Pakistan

We all know Su30 MKI was downed, do we have wreckage? In time leaks will show from Indian side or by some satellite photos

Su30 MKI pilot cannot downgrade to Mig21 during combat

LOL!

I like to think I'm pretty good at aircraft recognition and general image interpretation and I could not honestly and objectively tell for sure what those aircraft were. I mean, the first actually looks like a Burya missile (of all things - betcha many don't even know what that is!) if you pause at the right moment, that's how bad the compression artifacts are. And why neither evasive action by the first aircraft nor attempts to fire by the second - they're both perfectly straight & level? Best guess here is that it's simply an element of two JF-17s with the wingman in trail - this fits the observed facts a lot better.

Doesn't pass my sniff test - it may well be footage from the recent clashes, but the video quality doesn't allow ANY definitive conclusions regarding type to be drawn. If it confirms anything at all, it would be that some people will see only what they want to see...

Hi,

And it also proves that---some people will never be able to see or to admit what is right in front of their eyes---. Nothing new---not the first time it happened---won't be the last---.
