I had read where some believe three of the Type 093Gs have now been commissioned and that another new Yuan was too. But it is not confirmed.

But given the pics...I believe it is probable.

Kudos Jeff, you nailed PLAN development a decade before most writers! As I recall, pundits from that era called the PLA 'biggest active duty military museum in the world,' and didn't put much stock in Chinese military and scientific advancements. People like you and Andrew Erickson were exceptions.

Hi Jeff,

I missed the land based ASW aircraft and the helicopters. And, as Vincent already remarked, I too see AOR's pictured in the submarine chapter.

The report is not a comprehensive report on everything...I do not have a section this year on the ASW helos or land-based ASW.

I did find the error in the Submarine section where it was displaying Type 903 and 904 pics and have fixed that. Thanks for pointing it out!

Take another look now.
