That first photo which I've posted is basically the model of the Triomphant SSBN itself.
Though to put it simply, I believe that the Triomphant SSBN could be viewed as the Vanguard SSBN, but with the turtleback extended completely to the stern section of the submarine, thus making the SSBN much more streamlined (and its turtleback less pronounced).
Of course, I'd say that the 096 SSBN could go either way with what information we obtained thus far (though personally, I like the French design more).
Both Triomphant and Vanguard are fairly viable and modern as SSBN external hullforms, relative to something like 09IV or Delta family.
Being in the same overall external profile, with modern features like a pumpjet and x-tails (as expected) would certainly give it a more external "modern" appearance consistent with contemporary and near future SSBN types. Though of course the business end would always be the internals. And of course the size of a SSBN's hump is also a reflection of pressure hull diameter and missile length. The size of JL-4 (which presumably will be 09VI's primary SLBM) will determine the prominence of the hump that they need.
