Someone on CD leaked the existence of new full deck landing ship in Hudong and a big shrimp confirmed it. The ship costs 1.5 billion RMB and weights more than 25,000 ton.

If it's displacement is greater than 25k tons then it will compare favourably to the juan carlos and canberra class. It's a good weight class I think. Not near the massive Wasp/America of 40k tons but greater than the dokdo/hyuga 18k, which even the 071 has a displacement near.

Hahaha nosh, by your habbit, I take it you are an Chinese netizen too? (not necessary resident at China currently though)

Chinese websites got this freaking annoying rules all the time that "outsiders sources shall not posted at our site!" - Chinese netizens then having formed this nasty habbit to dodge weblink filters.

About time I say, the full deck landing ship. - "All the OTHER P5 of the UN have had full deck LHDs, even the WWII defeated nation Japan got, but not China!" - If one never heard this kind of cryouts, one never spend good time at Chinese forums.

Too much noise in the chatter, need more to verify. Lets assume it is true, then we have a LHD that can support around 20 helicopters and 1000 troops. That is a strong force power projecting force, and unit cost of around $240 million.
