Looks to be stills from a video. Anyone got a link to the original clip? Stills can be faked, much harder for a video.
The video is from Dafeng Cao's twitter. However, I have doubt on the origin of this video, is this from Chinese ship or was it from US ship?

No way any US ship would cold launch like that. No US ship, at least Burkes, has HQ-10 launchers set like that (some Burkes only has SeaRAM at the rear) and those long aerials too. Most Burkes have Phalnx and both Phalnx and SeaRam are set fore, not aft of the rear VLS. No Russian ship too would match this appearance.

Can you identify the type of ship that launched the missile? I tried the front view and rear view, I couldn't find the two satcom on the sides of type 055's structure.

Only 055 has this type of missile launcher at this position.

Certainly no Burke, which doesn't have this rear launcher not even RAM, and Burkes don't have satcom in those positions either.

As for the sitcoms, which isn't on 055 photos I have seen, I find that PLAN constantly adds new small satcoms on ships on an ad hoc basis. Even on 052D and 054A, they put satcoms on different positions. I am not sure why but it is what it is. These satcoms could have been newly added to this particular ship. Note that Nanchang also added new satcoms (different ones they are circular) that were not there before when she was commissioned.

What possible US ship has that helicopter hanger layout, missile launcher and whip antenna combo like that?

It’s an 055.

There are not many good shots of the hanger, but I think this is the best one I have seen.

More magazine scans.

You can just about make out the Satcom bulbs as the little while bulbs with black rims. Although these seems to be a new addition as they were not on launch day pictures of any 055 I can remember.

Thanks, that should explain the existence of satcom.
