the hull number could end up being 101. The ship name could also end up as Nan Chang. I do not believe the photo to be real however, considering there are no news of 055 undergoing seal trials. Based on all the 052Ds with no pennant numbers running around during sea trial, the 055 is unlikely to be special. It has also only been what 8 months since the launch?

Point however is that the date below is only the regular note added to all images when they were uploaded at that forum. It is not necessarily the date the image was taken.
