Yes we already have it posted in the previous page. Ship will only be a patrol frigate, with only minor updates.

Other details don't point to getting a pair of Type 1130 CIWS. Looks like it will retain the four H/PJ-13 with a single Type 347G FCR with TV cam to guide them. Not an ideal setup because you only have one sensor for four guns and you are unable to engage targets at all directions simultaneously.

Will be checking in the future to see these details:

What will be the main gun? 76mm or 100mm?
Front Gunnery radar? Retain Type 344? Or move to Type 347G? Gun and Gunnery radar is a combination. 100mm/Type 344 or 76mm/Type 347G. The better outcome is to move to the 76mm/Type 347G combination as this has better anti air capability and can defend against antiship missiles.

Having two Type 347G radars one front and one rear is better, because the four 30mm H/PJ-13 only has one sensor, So if one Type 347G is looking at one side and guiding two of the guns, the second can look at the other side, guiding the other two guns, and both can service the 76mm gun at either direction.

ECM unit? Move to Type 726-3?
ESM unit? 751 ESM, or move to one of the 726 series?

Would be interesting to see what will be the main radars. Type 360S might be headed for discontinuation, so for cheapie search radar unless they still have a 360S lying around, it would either be an SR2410C or a Type 363 like those used on the 056. Another question is whether the Type 364 radar on the back has been discontinued or not, which can mean also mean a change in this slot.

Final antiship missiles is up to air. Who knows? They might put 8 YJ-12 in it.

The HQ-10 launcher is utilizing the rotating mechanism that was already there for the HQ-7 launcher.

Could 525 become a more dedicated ASW frigate with this kind of anti-submarine missiles (instead of anti-ship missiles)?

You still need a TAS or VDS, and I don't think the 054 in its original configuration is equipped with one. We don't know if the retrofit will include one or not. We need a photograph of the aft of the ship.

Regardless, a true 054A is a better ASW frigate. Not only can it use the Yu-11 on slanted canisters but also the Yu-8 on its VLS. You also have the TAS and the VDS.

I tend to think this is going to end up as a frigate that will work as a sovereignty protector and in support of China Coast Guard or Type 056 operations.

@Tam
A question on 054a here: it has all these fancy sonars such as vds or tas, but i keep hearing people mentioning how its diesel engine is too noisy for asw tasks. I am not how should these factors be evaluated, appreciate if you would shed some light on it
Thanks in advanced

The engines are encased in sound proofing, including vibration mounts.
