And just a bit of trivia, relevant to the 054A...back in my own thread I ask if anyone like to guess what kind of air conditioners they installed on the 054A, as it turns out - at least 2 units, those big fridge-sized ones = installed in the mess room are made by Daikin. Yes, as in "Made in Japan" by Daikin! Believe me, on the lower right corner of the air conditioner have the plaque in English and Japanese of the brand, type (remember something called "special air conditioner" in kanji), serial no., origin and year of production.

Went through the Daikin Marine Type Packaged Air Conditioner Unit catalog, very likely their R404A series...

Kinda irony consider where you'd find a MIJ air conditioner, but damn do Daikin made good air conditioners...

Hehehe...we've been living with the same scenario here in the states for the last 30-40 years. But they do make some very nice stuff.

Heck, we're playing the same game, but even much larger, with China now in the States. Keepin those factories hummin'!

You just have to make sure you have access to the products (or stockpile them) if you are going to use anything that is critical...or figure it out so you can make something comparable yourself if necessary.

I believe they used to use Mitsubishi AC units, well at least those dedicated industrial units are better than what they use on Jianghus.

054A 568, the Chowhu has been changed to Henyang. It still keeps 568. The City of Chowhu has been renamed to three smaller cities.

Chaohu was downgraded to a county-level city on August 23rd 2011, and three of its districts were assigned to surrounding larger cities to facilitate their development. The City of Chaohu still exist as it stands. The name change is not related to that event as it occurred nine months ago, this is more related to free up the Chaohu name for one of the incoming replenishment ships.

Thanks, I will update my page tomorrow with this info.

Anyone know what names 531 and 532 are to be given?
