Now if someone had just accidentally dropped a measuring tape beside one of the VLS modules and accidentally taken a photo, I'd be much happier with these photos....
from the photos above, it is very obvious the VLS is huge ... 0.85 m very much confirmed
I'm not talking about the interior dimensions, which would not be measurable by any tourist on that ship. I'm talking about the exterior dimensions for a complete 2x4 UVLS module, which could possibly be accomplished with a small degree of ingenuity.

I have to say the workmanship of the ship and weapons (VLS, radar, gun, etc) are top notch quality .. very well maintained as well

And a large degree of being hung upside down and beaten in jail LOL. I don't know about you but I don't wanna be caught taking measurements and pictures on Chinese military vessels and even if I did stupidly choose to take the risk, it would be for my own curiosity, not to post on a website accessible to anyone.
OTOH I have no problem somebody else taking the measurements (and the heat) and me getting the benefit
Actually I wonder if you innocently asked one of the naval officers standing there, if they would just tell you the dimensions.

They'd take you to the Innocent Questions Room with an innocent baseball bat, an innocent chair with innocent electric probes on it, and an innocent tank of water large enough to dunk an innocent person into LOLOTOH I have no problem somebody else taking the measurements (and the heat) and me getting the benefit
