Russia ‘signs contract’ to deliver S-400 missile systems to China – report
Russia “has signed a contract” to deliver the S-400 surface-to-air missile systems to China, Vedomosti daily reported on Wednesday, citing its sources. The contract between Russia’s Rosoboronexport and China’s Defense Ministry on the delivery of at least six divisions of the S-400 systems for more than $3 billion was concluded at the beginning of autumn, according to the sources. Russia’s defense concern Almaz-Antey has not commented on the report. The talks between the two states on the issue have been continuing for several years.

Things have changed for the Russians as they too pivot East. The 2 gas deals worth US$800 billion got signed.
So expect more Russia-China deals to happen.

The deal has NOT been signed !!!

The Moscow Times was unable to receive confirmation from Rosoboronexport that a contract has been signed, but a representative of another government agency involved in defense exports, the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation, told the RIA Novosti news agency the contract had not yet been signed.

One Division is equivalent to a battalion, a system for industrial, 8 launchers for VVS.

Re: Russia sells S-500 systems to China

People need to stop posting these articles from the Russian media about sales to China of SU-35, Lada class subs, S-400 SAM's, S-500 SAM's.
Because so far they are all proven to be bunk. Lets just wait untill there are signatures on contracts before posting anymore of these type of news.

The term "really" in this case is actually "according to the Russians", the definition of which, as history has proven, tends to diverge quite heavily from the that of the former.
