A little help please..near the end of the video there seems to be some comparison among navies that operate carriers. Just what is is commentary? thanks..

Yes, I think so. It is not finished yet.

And the aircraft elevators still have the fittings on which they were lifted by the shipyard crane.

The long whip antennas along the flight deck were not mounted yet.

Note that Western mass media use 001A to refer to CV-17.

There would be a paradigm shift when China began to use the CV-17 not just for active service, but also joint training as well. I can foresee a possibility of the Russian Naval Aviation training carrier ops with the Chinese just like how the US carriers train with the French Naval Aviation.
The real wake up call would be when China gets its CATOBAR carriers online, Russia would then have to get catapult capable fighters if it wish to have joint carrier ops with China.

They summarized that there are 3 categories of CV’s in the world: the super carriers like the USS Nimitz; the mid-sized carriers like the Liaoning and the French Charles de Gaulle. They didn’t say anything about the small carriers though... The designer of the CV17 also said that he believed that the CV17 was among the best mid-sized carriers.
