It's an autonomic dry dock so I don't know what you're posting about... US Navy used it alot during WWII days.
Wet dock is just a dock or a pier. The ship stays wet when docked to it.
Yeah, and 'sunlight dock' is when a ship stays in a dock in the sunlight. The ship stays in the sunlight (direct or reflected) when docked to it. That's correct definition I suppose.

No it's not. A wet dock is jargon denoting a dock that keeps the water level constant regardless of the tide.
Janiz, being a superior specimen to the rest of us homo sapiens, does not recognise the jargon 'wet dock' as existing in the English language. How interesting.
