Could some body tell me how are the patent measured between different countries, do the companies, universities in each individual countries apply patent in their own countries and than each country publish them or is there a pool of patent run by the UN or somebody?

Aldo moderators can we make this trend a sticky pls?

There are a few different types of patents. You can patent a design or product in a particular country like your home nation or you can apply for international patents. The difference is in the cost you will pay more than anything. A good patent that is registered in multiple countries is not cheap!

Your article is probably accounting for all patents originating in China that cover both domestic and international.

Guys...keep it on topic.

The only article I read about her and her cure made plain where the MIL 77 drug came from:

"What I can tell you is that the treatment went very well,' the Dr. said..

'It caused no side effects that we were able to illicit and we were very happy with its use.'

It was produced by a company in China which 'very kindly' provided the drug and there was a 'limited supply' left that they could treat future potential patients with.

So, let's not make this some kind of thread to look for alleged or perceived gripes or slights against China. it's about China technological advances...plain and simple.

It's also not about strawberries.

I found this funny. I saw on TV there's an Italian model operating a DJI Inspire drone herself to take photo shoot selfies of herself on the beach. Her name is Claudia Romani if you want to check out her Instagram page where you can see one of the shots where the shadow of the DJI Inspire is in the frame. I hear DJI is adding a follow me feature on their drones. That'll probably make it easier for this model to take pictures of herself without having to hold the remote control.

The last I heard they are still perfecting it. You don't want your drone to crash into a tree.

Another Chinese drone maker is Yuneeq and could be giving DJI a run for its money. On Amazon, it got more favorable ratings than DJI. A farmer in the US uses it to shepherd his sheep. Oh, it has the follow me feature.
