That's scanned from a publication (see the ISSN no.), a single barrel 30mm automatic gun. Though it's not known what ship equipped them...probably taken onboard the test platform.

well, it's apparently been fitted onto 885 replenishment ship. Speculations are that it will be going to Aden with the next flotilla, so it would be helpful to have this for protection against the pirates.

A sidenote is that, only stupid enough pirates would go close enough to CIW range...

Thing is, many occasions pirates going after their "prey" and turns out to be some big-gun warship (despite the nationality of the warship, in a matter of speaking). It dose make sense the replenishment ship should armed more guns. (and the SEA-RAM style CIWs didn't fit this job well... with regards to above "who's better?" heated debates.)

As you well know, the task force comprising 169, 569 and 885 sailed Zhanjiang 2 July for the Gulf of Aden.

From the looks of the ground, it surely ain't Holland.

Holland stuff don't only have to appear in Holland

730 could have been based on the goalkeeper for all we know.
