shenyang aircraft technical base when compare to xian or even chengdu is quite limited.I recall during the 80's HK magazine,explain the main reason why central committee (or party elder)willing to abandone Nanchang aircraft co, but not shenyang.is due to sentimentalities (or ideologies)shenyang in there view was the symbol of Mao 's plan economy,correct me, the first aircraft manufacturing plant set up by both Chinese and russians technical assisstant. part of the Sino-russian freindship treaty..
I assume you were trying to link the page directly where there is the image displayed in a box frame.
Just right click inside the image display box and select view image. Then copy the address of the new page displaying only the image and nothing else.
yes, while the article may be full of hole, but there's a report existand of two prototype ,test flight will took place either in june or july.
but last year, there's photo of newly built j-11 outside the shenyang plant, in the right side there's mysterious aircraft,other dismiss it as optical illusion.but I bet it could be J-16.
