Wonder why they reinstalled Fuzhou's original Fregat radar. Doesn't look like a new Type 382.

Only DDG 136 Hangzhou is in serious upgrade. As for DDG 137 Fuzhou, it was probably a routine "health check", as it went back to joint the fleet pretty soon afterwards. Not sure if any internal electronics have been updated though.

In a nutshell, this guy (original author) went onto the DDG 136 himself a few days ago, and discovered VL missiles/systems hadn't been installed yet, but it defintely looked like HHQ-16 to him; the main gun would most likely to be the (original?) twin-130mm cannon, the reason might be interesting... According to him, the combat data system had been swapped into the Chinese-made version; though the upgrade progress was somewhat delayed.
He also went onto checking some other ships, including checking out Type 056 corvette the first time, from head to toe - its bridge, operations/CIC room, radar & communications systems, anti-submarine systems, etc., and found out that many sub-systems/equiment on 056 had improved leaps and bounds from the previous generation, not only just a facelift, but also more functional; and it would very likely to be used on later batches of 054/052 classes warships. (he meant 054A++, 052C/D etc.)
