How are those Zubrs supposed to launch if they have no space to maneuver forward or backwards? I don't think they have the ability to move sideways.
I am not sure that the picture is completely to scale. There may be more room, which would allow them to maneuver off.

However, in my post I also indicated very clearly that they would maybe need to be slightly canted, and facing each other. That was why I said that. In that configuration, they would be able to simply maneuver forward at the angel they are on deck, away from one another and the carrier vessel.

I don't think it can carry 2 Zubrs but that's just my personal opinion and I could very well be wrong. A Zubr and an LCAC sure...
I think the Zubr is too long to be carried longways and the mlp too narrow in the beam for it to carry sideways or even canted.

You may be right, Kwaig...but I just don't know. I think they could be canted slightly and made to work. Here's a couple of pics of the vessel carrying one Zubr and floating it either on or off.

There will only be a few conditions where they will (try to) fit two Zubrs on this 868.

1. They see a real necessity to do so.
2. It still has a good safety margin for doing so.

Remember, these are not cheap pieces of equipment. Sticking two Zubrs on this 868 means three expensive pieces of equipment moving together, on the high sea.
