Yeah! its kinda fun isn't it, but of course the South Korean's did NOT threaten the Y-9 with an unsafe intercept did they, very safe and very professional, showing China and Russia how to conduct a safe intercept of the other guys intelligence gathering aircraft,,, hey, I really can't wait till China starts sending their CSG out on world wide tours, spending all that gas, and time, maybe they'll help shut down those pirates off the coast of Africa, and blockade the North Korean Kid..... ya think???

The only thing they showed was South Korean protocol. They do it their way; China and Russia does it our way and we will continue to do it our way. One thing is for sure: neither China nor Russia strive to be like a small country split in half, with foreign military boots on its soil.

The thing with hubris is that one who has it, doesn't have a clue they do until it's too late. As for the "Eastern Block Comrades" are concerned, well as I keep saying, what Soviet Union was and what Russia is in present day, are two completely different entities altogether. Think of the Soviet Union as a parasitic organism that had held Russia and the entire Eastern Block, hostage. They are a people who have experienced incalculable death in WW2 and furthermore with the Communist/Bolshevik Axe grinding away on them (particularly the Russians suffered, as they were Orthodox Christians). So one shouldn't be stereotyping or lumping everyone in the same basket.
Imperialism is dying, as it did with the Romans, with the British and now it will with America. It is not something that would be averted, $21 trillion debt, eroding influence globally, divisions domestically are all ominous signs of its death. What's interesting is that the denial and fight back intensifies to fever pitch, before the last gasp. One can't stop the inevitable, just as one cannot open the eyes of those fallen to hubris.
