Niiiiiice.

He's probably talking about the LR/CS-4 7.62mm rifle delivered earlier this year.

If that thing fires he will crack some ribs. At least his left hand is in the correct position.

Taurus MT9/40 in PAP service or trials, presumably. This was shown along with a few Glock pistols, a NP-22, CS/LS2 SMG, QSZ-92, and possibly a few other firearms.

Might be for the HK police. Hong Kong Police has been a long time user of Heckler and Koch weapons including MP5 and G36 export variants. H&K however are no longer exporting out of NATO that means That the HK PD cannot replace HK MP5's when they wear out.

No, that pic is taken at a event with the Xinjiang Police. For HKPF, the news that H&K no longer exporting MP5 isn't that big of a problem, aside from the eventual concern with training and logistic concern, which the anti-government press and politicians are just too happy to spin it out of proportion.

For one, the SDU (FYI, that's SWAT equivalant for the HKPF) have been using SIG Arms SIG516 carbine as late as since 2015, couple with the fact that SIG Arms is Swiss company, and Swiss arms export is beyond the scope and limitation of NATO or EU, plus L&E procurement does not fall under arms embargo against China, thus HKPF could, if not via open bid, purchase SIG MPX series for their SMG replacements.

Back to topic...

The Taurus MT9 (most likely 9mm version, Chinese police force is using 9mm) is either a on-loan from Taurus fo small batch trial or small batch L&E procurement because, let's face it, only of late the Chinese arms industry stop churning out whacky designs and actually come out with conventional / mature / sensible designs; and Xinjiang region, as we should know, is at the frontline of Islamic terrorism, in addition to terrorists - those that survived their "study trip" with Daesh - are reportedly returning home following the fall of Daesh in Syria, bringing their skills and even weapons along, so that means Xinjiang police have the urgancy to "up their game" in all aspects. If home industry can't provide the answers, foreign source will have to do.

Is it really a good choice to choose something from Taurus though? They don't exactly seem to have the best reputation. It seems that Xinjiang police would be better off adopting the new JH-16-1 to fill the niche of a 9mm SMG.
