A photo posted last Saturday by a known spotter in China also showed a J-20 device where a "15" inscription is found on the left hatch of the main landing gear. It is not known for the moment whether this is the 15th aircraft since the beginning of the program, therefore the 7th series aircraft, or if it represents the 15th series aircraft.

But given the rate of production observed, it is believed that it seems more likely that it is the 15th since the program began.

Look at the tail and fuselage, all have the typical 911 number from that artist.

I really do like the overall white, makes the airplane look more "put together" and off a whole... I'd love to see it in the old Navy all over white with the recognition orange like Navy birds of the 50s and 60s,,, it really is a pretty airplane. Don't feel too bad Siege, you are a bright lad Bub!

I'd really like to see this artist give the AFB a Navy rendition of the Air Force model,,, all over white, recognition orange where appropriate, nice beefy mains, and dual nose gear with tow bar , and of course, please don't forget my "hooky thang"??

Sorry AFB, I have to disagree with you on this. The white body with green on the edges looks so 80's. It remind me of the J-8II.

HEH!, Heh!, Heh!, how are you Steel? you well know the OLD AFB is indeed an archaic creature?? so I'll take as a compliment....in my minds eye?? that all over white with recognition orange on nose/tips/tail says "Naval Aircraft", in fact even though I'm the AFB, I never told my Dad that those Navy Pilots orange flight suits were in fact way Kooler than his olive drab flight suit, though I loved the reversible orange lining on his actual "flight jacket"!

I just love orange, and in fact we have an "ignition orange" Pontiac G8, which is just flat KOOL!

ooohhhh, and Deino, how's that for a "run-on-sentence" Brother??? you would probably mark a students paper down for a sentence like that, or my multiple question marks????

anyway, while I question whether or not Chengdu will build a Naval J-20, I have come to the realization that a WS-15 powered J-20 could indeed operate off a Chinese CATOBAR carrier if desired?? I would love to see a serious artist present us a Naval J-20,,,, I can't explain my fascination with it?? but it does intrique me??
