Young North Koreans actually can read Hanja. According to Wikipedia which cited a book about languages in Asia, North Korean high schoolers learned 2000 characters while college students learned 3000 of them. In addition, according to this interview with a North Korean back in 2016:
North Korean students are still studying Hanja.
Given China’s current stance and relations with North Korea, it is highly possible that the current generation of North Korean youth have a much stronger grasp of Hanja in comparison to their older counterparts.

This makes me look forward to generative AI creating YT content in the near future for two reasons: 1) Crappy YT channels like this will no longer be able to make any income. 2) The quality will vastly improve.
I've critiqued what's called AI on philosophical and technical grounds before, but there's no doubt that machines far exceed the talent of the common YT scum.
True and that is part of a wider trend. Americans keep writing about how they don't care about China but it is obvious China is living rent free in their heads.
