well besides selling fruit which other ASEAN nations already have, the saddest thing would be human trafficking.
I didn't know you understand Tagalog and that you're in the Philippines as well. I don't know what's going on with President Bong Marcos Jr. strategic approach for his country because the EDCA announcements were done so quick after his most recent state visit in China and meeting with Pres. Xi that I am beginning to suspect that Marcos Jr. acted as some sort of spy for the U.S. to gather and gain some political insights as per their plans for the Philippines regarding their bilateral trades etc.

I hope for the Philippines sake that they don't think of the potential armed conflict with China as America vs Japan I shall return redux because it's not.

That lady has long been a CIA/NED shill in the Philippines. Her rhetoric is only being gleefully amplified by a media that's always been beholden to put American interests first Philippines last.

She's the AOC version (older and more useless) of the Philippines.

And as I have theorized in my prior posts, America seems intent to use countries like the Philippines as their prime instigator in starting a conflict for Taiwan for propaganda, and international law reasons.

China better watch the Philippines actions and its more bellicose rhetoric since the leadership has become a willing partner for American interests in taking China down over Taiwan.

The Philippines and Filipinos to unfortunate extent see themselves as extension of America. They literally think that America = God. What a terrible sad state of affair.

Please inform this prostitute that without money, Chinese money at that, the Philippines will remain the den of western pederast, groomers and terrorist attacks and Malthusian catastrophes brought about by Catholic pederasts. Pissing off your customer isn’t the brightest thing a government sponsored prostitute (apparently they’re called politicians in democracies) should be doing.

In news that’s sure to make the Atlanticist west really angry, Tunisia has turned down debt traps and predatory loans from the IMF and sought membership with the BRICS.

Maybe the west ought to try some of that free market they harp on about and offer competing terms?

still makes me laugh how seedy and sneaky the west was in trying to get china to cancel BRI related loans when the entire BRICS will build the BRI for China anyhow!

TikTok might be impossible to ban on 1st amendment grounds , prior laws saying viewing adversary's content is legal, and anti-competition laws. However, the "brains" may try to strangle tik tok financially. We have seen that McDonalds leaving Russia hasn't affected the restaurant functionality since everything was provided by local suppliers anyways... Everybody can play that game too

And this is why they will lose. They no longer understand compromise.
The array of obstacles now confronting the government on TikTok has led to the sense that Washington has already botched its best chances to rein in the Chinese-owned app.
“The missed opportunity was last December,” said Lewis. That was when CFIUS and ByteDance reached a tentative deal, known as “Project Texas,” which would theoretically have siloed off U.S. user data from Beijing’s surveillance. It
