A lot of people aren't aware that Austria was similarly partitioned to Germany when WW2 ended and the Soviets wanted the same agreement for the reunification of Germany but the Western Allies shat the bed and we got NATO, WarPac and the wall.

Chinese President Xi Jinping has said he is ready to have a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
