Really, greed and hatred now governs this nation and without genuine competence and compassion to stir the nation right, can anyone right say that this nation has more then a few years left to exist as a nation. Really multiple places in the nation like in Mississippi, Florida, New Orleans, St. Louis and recently Ohio have these disasters that any normal leader would try to fix instead of using it as an opportunity to pay themselves on the back, there has to be a time when the damages will accumulate and the ultimately civil unrest will either occur or massive casualties will occur regardless leading to the exact same thing and then any well attempt to try and focus on a conflict with Russia or China will forever close and the nation will finally imploded in a similar manner to the ‘Forever Purge’. Anyone that thinks that the USA can ever bounce back is kidding themselves, Biden has done nothing but make ice cream jokes and making out with warmongers to care and the American people for all there guns are too chicken to really try to save the nation, America is finished

In any case, the questionable loyalties of many CPC cadres are a known problem hence why Xi started his first term with a very effective purge of the MSS and then moved on to purging cadres with significant overseas assets and relatives in hostile countries like the EU-28, Japan, Five Eyes, etc. If I had any suggestion it would be to intensify the efforts to dig out said cadres and slam shut the pipelines they use to sell secrets and move taxpayer money abroad. Singapore in particular from my personal knowledge is now the key node with which hot money leaves the PRC.

Splitting alibaba into 6 companies, is like splitting amazon into a couple of companies, reducing their competitiveness, efficiency and discouraging them from investing into new ventures, both within and outside of their companies. Sooner or later the government will split byd and catl for being too "dominant" in their industries.
I disagree, China is a massive intra market that breeds the best companies— it’s how DJI and shein dominated the west so quickly because they’d already had to survive in the Chinese market in the first place.
Alibaba being a monopoly was acting like Google and Facebook and stifling competition and not contributing to innovation but rather, sitting on rentier money and thereby stifling competition and innovation. Why was google so shocked at Microsoft and chatGPT? If they lived up to their own hype they wouldn’t have been so shocked such that they along with all the other tech giants are cutting back and laying off staff.
It also means that the parts of alibaba that still had growth potential can fully exploit that outlook without being dragged down by alibaba lesser performing branches. I could see the cloud computing split off take off real well in the coming 5 years and I wouldn't be surprised if they would surpass Google in the cloud space.
