I won't call it a miss. The target was already dived into the sea before the missile reach the intercept point. At this point of time, the interceptor would have lose the target since it was no more in the air.

If the target continue to fly forward instead of diving into the sea, it would set off the proximity fuse of the missile when their distance close.

A SAM cannot hit an aircraft if that aircraft is already under water.

The 4 frames below happened within 16th seconds of the video.

The video looks doctored since the yellow circled object disappears without a trace. If it hit the water, with its mass and speed, you would see a very noticeable splash.

The most obvious conclusion is that someone took a successful intercept clip and cut it in a way to make it look like a failure.

It's unbelievable if they're upgrading the 052DL, already... That would seem unfair.

According to rumors, simply upgraded type 364 radar to the new fast reaction radar first seen on the Type 075.

Hopefully because this is the start of full rate production. This line could be spitting out three 052s at a time. It makes sense to start with 2 hulls to give yourself a bit of room to verify everything and refresh and train talent again before entering full rate production.

At present, there is still no credible evidence we have to suggest Saudi Arabia has bought any 052Ds, correct.

If it happens, there will be credible evidence. As of now, there is still no credible evidence of that.


Anything else is a waste of time. Your previous posts and comments implying Saudi Arabia had bought 052Ds remain unsubstantiated.

If tomorrow we get official government evidence from Saudi Arabia that they had signed to buy 052Ds, your previous posts and comments would still have been unsubstantiated.
