Apart from the fact that the 076 LHD will begin construction soon/already started construction in 2023 in Hudong-Zhonghua - According to the Chinese 3D-modeller 西葛西造舰 on Youtube, we could expect the first unit of the 076 to be launched in 2024, based on the fact where the required completion date for some of the equipment/components which can only be installed on the ship during the fitting-out stage is July 2024.

For comparison, the 075 LHDs took around 8-10 months from the start of construction to launch. Although, because of the EMALS and arresting gears, I believe the drydock construction period for the 076 would be somewhat longer for at least a couple of months.

I do wonder where he got that July 2024 deadline from...

The document is to be used as a reference during the bidding process. Specifically, it lists two entry/exit hatches for the gas turbines, and two entry/exit hatches for generators.

This might be of some relevance. The image shows an onshore test rig where a gas turbine is coupled to a 21MW medium voltage generator.

A lot of conception drawings seem to only include only 1 cat. Is that really enough from a reliability standpoint?

Won't it basically just depend on how good their EMALS tech is gonna be as well as maintainance, usage etc.

Not to mention might it be possible to have UCAVs fly off without catapult(less fuel) or with possibly rockets to assist launch?

This is finally a design which I personally think is a bit more viable than the other ones we've seen before (in particular the presence of the angled deck, and the removal of the aft elevator to deck edge elevator).

Though not so sure about the azipods. I also wonder if it may have a slightly smaller island than depicted (which is essentially here just a 075 island with a 054B radar), and perhaps even changing the bow elevator to a similar deck edge elevator to the aft.
