Technically there shouldn't be any obstacle. It can be done. The one shown above is from SU-27SK probably twenty years ago (for dumb bombs). PLAAF usually have considerably light loadout for daily flight operations. If memory recalls i have never seen PLAAF runs dual rack like the PAF runs on their Thunders and J-10CE. While PAF wants a loadout of 4xBVR +2xWVR, PLAAF is comfortable running 2x WVR + 2xBVR even on Flanker during intercept mission.

Dual racks for PL-12 or PL-15 can be seen on PLAAF's J-10, but on flankers they are rare.

But from what I know this is just a modellers wet-dream. I think I know this guy from Weibo and he has many fancy models like a heavily updated J-10AG, a J-11BG and more …
