there's 2 types of insane political morons like this

1. the "f the ch**ks and orcs" types. Before clicking their profile, I make a bet to myself to see which of these boxes they check: pro imperial Japanese/Nazi Germany weeb, cringe anime, /r/foreveralone, 4chan, /pol, gaming, MAGA, Qanon, antivaxxer, right wing.

2. the "love the people, hate the government and culture and land and everything but totally love the people" types. This bet is easy to take: pride flag, LGBT-bunch of more letters I can't track anymore, NATO, #BLM, /r/neoliberal, Biden, "not racist I have a black friend".

I dunno which kind is more nauseating at this point lmao. At least Type 1 morons keep their cheeto dust neckbeard photos off the web while Type 2 spams their crossdress twerking TikTok.

This is why we need a barf emoji.

Finance is a zero sum game.

It should go deeper than that.
Everything we see, touch, hear these days involves some degree of finance and financial contracts.
Chinese children looking after their old parents is a traditional form of financial contract, so is Guanxi, unwritten and unspoken, but understood.
Finance itself is one of oldest human inventions, like language , and as old as written language itself, that can exist and connect across temporal time; language carries information and meaning, finance carries value. Once you knock out financial inventions and instruments, that's stone age. In and of themselves, they are neither good nor bad; it's the usage and interpretation, which comes with a specific localized sets of culture and upbringing, that changes everything, that in turn changes the civilization that culture represents. It's the use and interpretation that matter. One would not find a single trace of finance in deep Amazon jungle with no humans and human activity, but the degree of finance goes up exponentially per square inch of any rich cities with advanced economies.

A China festival around my federal state, kinda nice to see that it happens again, previous years covid fck the organization.

Suprisingly politcally neutral, no "SEEPEEPEEPEE Bad" chanting, no FLG, atleast from what I've heard.

Sadly hadn't time to attend, but will post some pictures my friends took when I have time.

From time to time I use it as a hub to get to Uni via HSR. The federal state of Northrhine-Westphalia is basically a selfcontained entity in Germany, everything you need, you get from there.
I have a cousin that lives in Duisburg that works in Essen I believe.
