p.s. what the heck that’s a real thing? How come Disney hasn’t sued anyone for copyright infringement?

Lol, there is a Darth Brandon, but then again, is this foreshadowing something

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm…

After his death, Bandon's head was severed from his body and preserved by the Sith. Three hundred years later, it had eventually been put on display in the House Alde Royal Museum on Alderaan.

I genuinely can't remember if Boom Aerospace was discussed on this form or not, and I don't know if this belongs in World News or another forum.

But anyways, one of the things a lot of people (can't remember if it was on this forum or another forum/reddit, and definitely happened in real life) did to try and downplay China's C919 flights and China's developing aerospace industry in general was to point to Boom Aerospace. Basically it was another "America's back, baby!" thing.

Well, here's how its going:

It is just like Biden's yearly February victory tweets on how the USA will grow faster than China. Speculating on something that will happen in the future and declaring a victory out of that speculation has become common. It is almost like Pravda of the 1980s USSR.

When Xi took the reins, many in the West hailed him as a Chinese Mikhail Gorbachev. Some imagined that, like the Soviet Union’s final leader, Xi would embrace radical reforms, releasing the state’s grip on the economy and democratizing the political system. That, of course, turned out to be a fantasy. Instead, Xi, a devoted student of Mao and just as eager to leave his mark on history, has worked to establish his absolute power. And because previous reforms failed to place real checks and balances on the party leader, he has succeeded. Now, as under Mao, China is a one-man show.

In what tarnation-? What kind of stupidity is this? Gorbachev was their final leader for a reason. This is some Indian hype media levels of delusional. I know that the west has no understanding of China but this is dropping below level 0 kind of bad. I don't know whether to laugh or cry so I'll just cringe.

That's written by a Professor in CPC party history, ideology and worked under Jiang Zemin throughout his tenure. That bitch is simply a right wing ideologue who wishes to see China play a subordinate role or even a slavish role to the west.
