the British monarchies do not have real power.

Here is one case of the queen's political power:

Basically, QE2 was Oz sovereign and the Oz gov-general was her representative. The gov-gen dismissed the sitting Oz prime minister's government. An elected government, remember. The part where the gov-gen acted without the queen's knowledge I personally do not believe.

The royal family is a fucking joke, they virtue signal a whole bunch of PC stuff, but don't even apologize for their sins. For example, Prince Williams go to China to promote animal conservation, they care about animals more than actual human lives.
Animals are like human shields cowards hide behind to distract from their own ugliness. Never encountered a self-proclaimed animal lover that didn't have some problem with human beings they'll openly admit also. It's like when I encounter someone who says something racist towards Asians and then say they're not racist because they love black people. Asians aren't black so how does loving black people make them not racist towards Asians. It's because in their own racism they look at blacks as the lowest so if they can love black people, then they cannot be racist towards anyone else in between. Declaring love for animals is the next level of that same logic. Can animals say otherwise like how Westerners eat more meat and kill more animals for consumption than the rest of the world combined? No, that's why they love animals even more. They can't counter the lies.

Yet all the romanticizing over her because she died is about what she did for the world... Can't have it both ways.
Its probably just BBC propaganda machine doing that. I think even the monarchy supporters in UK know the British empire did some really horrible stuff around the world, albeit most before her reign.. I find some Brits also questioning why they are cancelling some sport events for mandatory mourning.

Doesn't matter what I personally believe anyway. The power to dismiss the Oz gov objectively came from the queen.

Yes, that was the US led coup against Whitlam when he refused to toe the line of US. I do believe QE2 didn't call the shots.

And for that alone and basically getting rid of ones Australia best prime ministers, she quite frankly deserves no respect from me. Not that I should be proud of her death, but still I honestly can’t see how the world isn’t better off without the likes of her
