We have witnessed a breakneck collapse of Huawei in the last four years. The global hegemon has clearly been successfull with their Huawei campaign. I was mum in 2018-2021 to give the Huawei case time to develop but we can now make a more definitive statement.
Did you even take the time to actually read what the founder of Huawei expressed/said on that leaked memo? Or are you just yet again trying to make an impression of doom and gloom on China as a whole as I have noticed you have been doing as of late, or perhaps these sort of activities have been your m.o. all along and I am just late to notice.

He's just mad because Ren hasn't responded to his letters. I'm getting a real "Stan" (that Eminem song) vibe from him.

Dear Ren,
I wrote you but you still ain't callin'...

He's always been concern trolling. Post blatant propaganda, then go "oh China surely can respond, right? Go China!"

Saw it back during the Bloomberg secret chips report. It was bunk, but he (and, admittedly, quiet a few others, ) only posted Bloomberg's side (ok, and the media side reporting on Bloomberg's report) and not the many, many articles from SMEs saying the report was literally physically impossible.

Chinese gunboats up the Thames when?
Stupidest thing you can do is for one nuclear-armed nation to declare another nuclear-armed nation a 'threat', when that country doesn't even regard you as a threat to begin with.

Once you make that declaration, the other guy ain't gonna just pout and be like: "Gosh dang it, that sucks." They're gonna consider you a threat in turn, an existential one at that, one that is to be eliminated by any and all necessary means.

But sure, have at it, Lizzy. The British Isles still float even under BoJo's premiership, so why not do your worst? Those rocks would probably still be there, even if the people living on them probably won't when they graduate from being presently cooked alive to being incinerated altogether.

Bro I think somebody should tell her the location of China, again the UK education system need an overhaul and should focus more on Geography, it's very telling not only in Britain BUT the US as well, she should join Pelosi and start digging to see the TRUE CHINA...lol

Huawei was/is a microcosm of China and so the US initiated war of containment against the company is a reflection of the larger broad spectrum totality of war America is fighting against the Chinese government and all of China including all 1.4 billion Chinese everywhere

The ultimate fate of Huawei and the outcome of the American lead war efforts against it may take yet a few more years to play out....

First let's take a step back, in late 2018 Verizon and AT&T had signed contracts with Huawei to bring Huawei headsets to America, and Huawei wss set to enter and explode in the US market... Then the US government intervened and put an abrupt stop to it.

Later when it became clear that the US wasn't going to let Huawei in the North American markets, Huawei was still content in growing outside the US since the rest of the world was still enough...

But America didnt stop there, its objective was to kill Huawei, and it went on a worldwide smear campaign as well as political bullying to convince everyone not to sign 5G contracts with Huawei.

When that didn't work, it decided to change the rules as it went along on the fly, lowering the de minimis from 25% to 1% thereby forcing TSMC to sever ties with Huawei, its largest or second largest customer at the time, and in a humiliating twist of irony pitting brother against brother to serve the hegemonistic needs of the white man literally on the other side of the world... perhaps even more insulting than US carriers doing FONOPs by passing through the Chinese strait.

Its when US forced TSMC to cut Huawei that forced the British to backtrack and renege on their decision to allow Huawei 5G networks in UK... after all this meant calling into question not only whether or not SMIC chips would have Chinese backdoors but more importantly whether performance would ever catch up to EUV produced state of the art.

So in a complete reversal 180, Huawei went from offering Apple to use its Hisilicon 5G chipsets in lieu of Qualcomm in the upcoming Apple phones, to overnight being without even a 5G from itself after TSMC dropped HiSilicon, and in a slap of face and twist of knife, later Huawei had to resort to buying Qualcomm 4G chips for its later Pseries model of handsets.

From the data, trends and trajectory it's obvious that had the US gov not forcibly intervened that Huawi would be by far #1 phone maker in the world, with Samsung and Apple a distant second and third... Instead Apple was given the win by way of Uncle Sam's sleight of hand and today Huawei is in a position of fighting for survival since its handset division had accounted for a bulk of revenue and profits....

What parallels can we draw from this towards the largest US containment of China as a whole? It's clear that somewhere between 2014 and 2017 (also the year CIA factbook stopped updating this) the GDP PPP of China surpassed the USA, and the trend is that the gap in terms of real economy is growing wider with China taking a larger lead...

However, as I've already detailed elsewhere, the US is intent on not only containing China, but reversing the trend and erasure of Chinese process and development by any and all means necessary, be they covert, overt, or anything in between. The only real rules in this world are that of the laws of physics themselves, everything else is a man made substrate that exists on top of those layers. If America could get away with it (breakthrough MAD) it wouldn't for a split second hesitate to genoicde all 1.4 billion Chinese on this planet, but it will accept as a second place consolation prize the technological, military and economic containment, erasure and domination of China and the Chinese in this world, to force through this long war of attrition the Chinese side to capitulate and much like the 1980's Japanese to eventually also bend the knee and kowtow to the US and forever be subjugated as a low wage slave labor nation surving in the interest of US hegemony....

America's plan is for a complete chip ban of China, to prevent all semiconductor equipment and supply chains from entering China or from working with any Chinese firm, and to stop the shipment of all chips and processors everywhere/anywhere to any Chinese firm/nation and any part of China...

The goal is not just to create a dual IC supply chain world, but just like with its dealing with Huawei, it's not enough for America to kick Huawei out of North America, the US must also take the furthest step in terms of not allowing anyone else to work with Huawei, so likewise it's not enough just to have two global IC supply chains, but the US is also actively seeking the complete and total destruction of Chinese tech and part of that plan includes doing whatever is needed to prevent China from ever developing its own state of the art mature IC supply chain (being able to fab at scale below <7nm etc) and to embarrass and humiliate China to force China to concede in a sort of Plaza Accord 2.0 or Shenzhen Concession in which China must source chips from the likes of Intel/AMD/Qualcomm even for its own domestic usages and never be allowed to be anywhere near two generations of state of the art Western IC tech etc.... If this effort is proven successful, this will herald in the third era of the US dollar extension by way of semiconductors being the new digital OPEC, and compelling all nations to fall under the US hegemony umbrella if they are to be in want of computer chips. But if China breaks through, it not only breakthroughs for itself but for all of the rest of humanity and the entire world, to give people the alternative option to US domination on this planet.

Despite the ramblings of the "solar is infinite" crowd, the fact of the matter is since 2008 the world has ran out of conventional crude oil, (known as the first Peak Oil) and since 2019 the global energy production has peaked, and not only that the global net usable energy and thus the global EROEI threshold is rapidly diminishing, this is likely a permanent and terminal decline absent some series of miracles that can not only happen soon enough but also be scaled up quickly enough to manage to bootstrap humanity to climb out of the "Energy Trap" that we already find outsides inside today....

The world today at large is not only a zero sum game (win win is a false dichotomy), but in actuality it is a Negative Sum Game in which everyone's pieces of the pie are all collectively shrinking and getting smaller even as the portions, ratios and angles stay the same... Globalization is dead, the Era of Abundance is over and gone too is the notion that a rising tide can lift all boats. It's every man for himself and the liftboats are getting swamped, and a sort of reverse Squid Game of Last Man Standing at the highest levels of geopolitics and macroeconomics in today's new world climate/landscape...

This won't be easy for anyone, but what separates China and the Chinese form of government from the US and West and from almost all other nations in the world is the CPC's willingness to do what is necessary no matter the costs. China long term can no longer ill afford to be relegated to largely making profits at the margins of US/Western consumption, to be the world's factory and get hostile US dollars in return... Overarchingly the long term strategic goal of China should and must be a complete decoupling from the United States, and to internalize and redirection/rechannel inwards, as a dual circulation shifting to predominantly an internal circulation where China by and large makes goods, products and services for its own domestic people and where it only trades with other nations when it must such as due to need for certain energy and/or raw material resources....

It isn't China's job to save the world, the Middle Kingdom has never had a Superman complex, and as Huawei CEO so aptly said, we must now focus on saving ourselves, and let the rest of the West "feel the chill".....

China's domestic market, most of the non-Western markets in the world, and some Western non-5-eye markets are not enough for Huawei? I'm a little bit suspicious if Huawei seriously mismanaged their business in the previous several years and now is using the U.S. sanction as an excuse.

Fake news of the day: A French state media made fake China-threat news to scare French audience. Who could have thought of it?

Western anti-China propaganda of the day: China forgiving debts of African countries reflects "China's ruthless self-interest".

at first I thought this was a little melodramatic for describing a sanctions set placed on a competing tech company, but then I saw EROEI and realized who was posting.

Didn't you also say that the US was absolutely, certainly, definitely bringing "total war" to the chinese on august 2nd or 3rd or whenever lol
So I was wrong about that but I said in the month of August and I also said if it doesn't go hot in August then I will leave the forum for good in shame.... so I have two more days if nothing happens then I will stop posting on here
