Germany is poised to spent 8.400.000.000$ for 35 F-35A airframes.

That is 240.000.000€ per airframe........

You get an J-10CE for 40 Million,

an Eurofighter for 90 million plus the money stays in Europe.

Both aircraft can fulfill all capabilities of F-35A minus stealth and certification for US gravity nukes like B83.

Don't know if I want to cry or to scream, we are in the midst of a massive drought in europe, some Poles just dumped more mercury into the rivers than Germans dropped bombs on Warsaw '39, not sure how high the losses in agriculture will be, we experience massive inflation and a coming recession, yet wages remain stagnant. We are not even certain if we can heat our homes in winter, let alone run any industry.

There is a war 1500km from Berlin and those green and social democrat dogs know nothing better than throwing money out.

Wait, since German citizens pay to tax to German government, government must devote themselves to solve these troubles for their people, isn't it? I think it is a basic society priciple.
Besides, Germany has good economy in European union. Germany government could pressing Poland government with that point like: "If you not eliminate the mercury in the river, you will get less money next year ..."
Meanwhile, goverment should store enough nature gas before winter, take money out of the public budget, sell these gas to ordinary people with a reasonable price to maintain social stability.
Now is the time for Germany's government to solve the worries of its people.
