Poles dumb industrial waste with high mercury content into a river, the fauna dies, the authorities delay reporting and try to hide it. Now the mercury goes downstream to german border and gets reported by the media.

Add to the mercury that there is a massive drought in europe, so the water volume is less and therefore the mercury is less diluted.

At the same time is the water level of the Rhine river on a historic low and freight ships can only transit half loaded. The Rhine is usually a highly frequented freight route.

Weather in Germanistan is dry as pelosi's P

Peak EU bullshittery

PRC should do an export tax to F merimutts and EU-mutts alike

So far confirmed at least 10 tons of dead fish on polish part of the river, the poison will get into the baltic sea in one or 2 weeks and further kill anything living there.

Afaik, there are also heightened concentrations of mineral salts, of which mercury salts should be the most alarm regarding adverse effects on human health.

Rügen is one of the major german tourists spots in the baltic sea, basically a seaside resort with millions of annual visitors, and right at the estuary of the affected Oder river, when the authorities say alarming levels of mercury is in the water, how many tourists will spent their summer in Rügen?

Why would the Russians buy Lira in their Sovereign Wealth Fund. No one wants to hold the Turks worthless currency. It’s down 25% YTD and 92% since 2006 against the USD (or 81% against the Ruble). Any senior management buying the Lira to hold on the national wealth fund should pack their bags and depart from the office lol.
Turkey has Circassian, Chechen and other minorities. so Russia is building its influence there. Turkey economic mismanagement its dependence on failing Europe is creating opening.

Did anyone really think humanity was going to some Star Trek utopia post Warp pie in the sky Type I Dyson sphere civilization?!?

Read up on Easter Island and what happened to it when its resources ran out.. Earth itself is but a larger 3D island suspended in the ocean known as the vacuum of space... And yes, Easter Island and its inhabitants had plenty of access to water and sun/solar.... but they couldnt bootstrap their way out of their problem due to constraints of time and size... but we have our constraints as a global society that while may be different in scale are equally impossible to overcome....

Recall back in 2019 that Greta girl from the EU was flying across the globe pointing fingers at countries like China, saying "How Dare You" etc etc etc

Now fast forward 3 years, fish are dead in Europe, rivers full of mercury, and its not even the dark of winter yet Europeans have already reverted back to the stone age practice of burning wood... not to mention farmers revolting and food riots everywhere, forced blackouts, supply rationing, no bottled water and toilets cant be flushed, etc

Even in the US where gas was always cheaper than in Europe the US released its strategic reserves meant for wartime to help bring down prices at the pump for the Anerican consumer.... this is about as myopic short term thinking as the type parodied in the movie Dont Look Up

Did anyone really think when push came shove that collectively as a whole humanity was ever going to do what was necessary to climb out of the Energy Trap?!? Nope instead we are diving head first into the EROEI abyss!!

Its too late for the world now, we are already past the point of no return for most on this planet, especially the West and esp USA, if its any solace, the rubicon and inflection point have been crossed long ago, long before China crossed that median line

I predict China and the Chinese civilization and the Han Chinese peoples will be the last and only one standing... which is a fitting irony considering it was the first one and longest running one.

The world might stand a better chance if we all cooperated under Chinese guidance and leadership, instead we having the dying Empire of US unable and unwilling to accept the trajectory of history and doing a scorthed earth to take the entire world down with it since if it can no longer be #1

The rapid collapse of the Afghan National Security Forces last summer and return to power by the Taliban laid bare the failed U.S.-led state-building efforts since 2001. The human and financial costs of the 20-year conflict were staggering — approximately 243,000 people died because of the war and the cost to U.S. taxpayers exceeded $2.3 trillion.
But the war wasn’t a failure for Pentagon contractors who enjoyed $108 billion in contracts for work in Afghanistan, with little oversight, according to a

The paper, authored by Heidi Peltier, finds that 13 companies received over $1 billion each in Pentagon contracts for work in Afghanistan. And those are just some of the contracts disclosed in federal databases. Over one-third of Pentagon contracts for work in Afghanistan — worth $37 billion — went to recipients who are not uniquely identifiable in publicly available contracting databases.

I reckon once the USA is completely done in That China and Russia will step up to the plate to restore the world (more so China). And the. The entire race of Anglos will be scape hosted as the responsible ones for busting up the world and will experience the same racism and hatred they have heaped on to the rest of the world from now until the ends of time. A just reward for all the evils this utterly stupid and evil nation has caused for so long
