Based former Prime Minister of Malaysia.
Malaysia (and other Asian countries) faced the real "debt trap" sprung by the the West during the 1997-1998 Asian Financial Crisis. George Soros short-circuited the Thai Baht and caused it's value to fall something like 40%. The other countries around Thailand like Malaysia were basically forced to devalue their currency to compete with Thailand in international trade, but of course inflation skyrocketed, the stock market and Real estate market crashed. Mahathir basically saved Malaysian financial system from collapse by pegging the currency (3.8 Ringgit) to the US $1 dollar. One of the most outspoken anti-American and anti-western political leaders in the world, too bad Malaysia has such discriminatory policies to it's ethnic Chinese minority to this day.

They will just buy the "Latvian blend" and similar BS. Since when does Latvia have oil?
Expect all sorts of phoney baloney oil sources to show up.
You cannot just replace the world's second largest oil producer with more oil production than #3 Saudi Arabia just like that.
The mere idea is bonkers.

Just to give you some comparison, Russia produces 3x the amount of oil than that of Iran, and almost 17x that of Venezuela.
In theory Iran could produce a lot more oil, but it would require dropping sanctions and like 8 years of investment.
As for Venezuela, they have the world's largest oil reserves, but it is in the oil shales of the Orinoco. It might take two decades of investment to get the oil out. And it would not be cheap since it is heavy hard to extract oil.

Chinese space centre finds jamming device weeks before launch

Staff at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Centre in Inner Mongolia found the item in a car ahead of the launch of the shenzhou 14 mission it was not clear if there had been a deliberate attempt at sabotage or not

“The successful handling of this problem has provided a solid technical guarantee for the smooth implementation of subsequent space missions focusing on Shenzhou 14,” the article said.

The jammer could cause a rocket to go off-course, but the space centre did not say whether the discovery was a sabotage attempt or an accident.

A Long March-2F carrier rocket has already been transferred to the launch pad in the Gobi desert, the China Manned Space Agency said on Sunday.

The space centre, where all crewed missions are launched, detected unknown interference signals in early May, according to the report.

It took scientists and engineers at the centre several days to analyse and track the jamming signals, which went on and off repeatedly near the launch site, “frame by frame”.
