This will be a long drawn out war. Those expecting quick victories conquer on the battlefield are seriously deluding themselves.

If I was a betting man, I would bet on the Russians who now have organized themselves and have better logistics and controls the skies above Ukraine. NATO armerments won't make a difference in the overall picture just like the Soviets armament didn't in Vietnam. US didn't lose that war. They grew tired of it and left.
The only thing the Russians are missing is the will. I don't know why they haven't fully declared war on Ukraine yet but maybe if these attacks on Russian soil continues, Putin will have the necessary outrage from his citizens to formally declare war.
Remember this is still a special operation.
Vietnamese were mauling US way more badly including winning multiple air to air engagements, shooting down thousands of planes including strategic assets like B-52s, effectively resisting air attacks on their infrastructure, taking new territory they never controlled, etc.

So far Ukrainian forces have failed to take any territory lost in 2014, haven't won any air to air engagements, cannot intercept or stop bombings of their infrastructure or even inflict significant damage on Russian strategic assets.

It is unconfirmed, but there are PSU pilots that have claimed to shoot down Russian jets, although it's unclear what kind of jets specifically.

is one of those pilots, flying Su-27. It is not totally implausible, as there PSU Su-27s and MiG-29s have been fighting with their VKS counterparts (and losing most of the time, as the latter has Su-35s). This guy probably shot down some easy targets like Su-25s, which would make his claim technically true.

Though his claim that VKS pilots are afraid of flying due to some sporadic resistance from PSU is not based in reality; the real threat to VKS are

All post as long as they are NOT related to Ukraine Military news will be deleted and any political post rated as such!

Take this as a very clear and final warning!

It looks like there are a number of fellows who still have not learned from the previous Ukraine Forum that was deleted.

I wonder if there's any truth to what strelkov recently said in his podcast i.e. ukraine and romania (posing as moldovian army) will try to seize cobasna ammo depot in transnistria. apparently ukraine could readily use the ammo seized there, cause it's all soviet stuff anyway

I usually take war news with a grain of salt, but it never really made much sense to me that russian troops would try and annex transnistria at this stage of the conflict; they're too far away, they can't even take donbass, why would they go there?

I think Ukraine was paying more on servicing its loans than on its school system. And that was before the war started.
I heard some of the IMF loans had rates of 15%.
If you think this "aid" doesn't come with loads of strings attached, well, you are being naive.
