What future development can we expect from China? More powerful laser for frigate size ships and H6 size large aircraft for defense against missiles?

The airborne fighter mounted variant is around 100KW (at least that’s what they are going for). Anything shipborne would have to deal with cruise missiles, so I assume 300KW and above average power.

And how Houthis still manage to struck key oil structures.

Could you explain the relevance of this part, and how it relates to the Silent Hunter?

This does remind me of earlier rumors about laser pods for J-11 and integrated laser/gun CIWS. IIRC both of them are listed in some sort of procurement document.

Not rumors, actual procurement documents. Now the website is blocked outside of China lol.

Do aircraft mounted laser weapons even exist?

They certainly do and is quite easily within reach even with current technology, just more on the cutting edge. Its just whether they can be bothered to deal with the complexity or have the guts to push the technological envelope.

its more the implementation that matters, rather than the core technology itself. One way would be to stow it away in a hatch like stealth aircraft stow weapons, and have it pop out when an incoming threat is detected and retract back into the bay once the threat is defeated to again maximise stealth.
