Re: Chinese military photos

It's a plan of evacuation of wounded soldiers.... very specific.

Thank you. I see what "Rescue overboard wounded region" could mean now. Still I find it surprising that the PLA would allow that photo to be released. Knowing where the wounded are coming from could reveal the location of the landing beach. Even if it is all hypothetical.

Good,
Maybe, Chinese cannot win their rival but they would never be defeated by any enemies.
And also, they will make every rival feel depressed.

Chinese paramilitary policemen take part in a counter-terrorism drill in Qingdao, Shandong province, eastern China on 17 April 2008. China announced earlier in April it would tighten public security measures ahead of the Olympic Games in the wake of alleged terror plots and unrest in Tibet. Measures will be taken to protect oil and gas networks from sabotage, and special attention will be paid to the security of public recreational places, hotels and leased housing, according to Xinhua news agency

Re: Chinese military photos

As I look at the pictures in the above post..Some of those troops do not appear to be in the best Physical condition. My question is >>> Are these reservist troops? Of private security? Just waht is their status??

I do not necessarily trust the Getty captions.
