why not use the Enterprise Mavic or the Matrice ? Toy drones are used in battle now?!
Why not, if they do the job and nothing better is available? PLAGF uses tiny personal helicopter drones controlled by what is in effect a military smartphone.
Did the city Konotop already surrendered? Haven't heard anything from them since last February
It does. People might not like it but it does; if Martin ever writes an ending it'll be the same as the one in the series. That ending was executed poorly but the idea is sound. ASOIF is tangentially about the political struggles of fantasy medieval statelets - it's principally about the endgame of a millennia-old struggle between two gods over which would enslave humanity. One of them won.

Ironically DNR&LNR troops (which have quite a lot of those drones) have shown quite an advantage over "serious" troops whose big star generals considered those things "toys". The same goes for the wide use of commercial digital chinese radios, which, with a good signals officer, aren't nearly as vulnerable to jamming/listening as many thought them to be.
Suriyak still shows the city as being under Ukrainian control. It looks like the Russians just bypassed it.
