Is that a true NATO analysis? Or just pure propaganda. Even an amateur can see that Russian troops were paused a few days ago. Are you telling me those conveys of troops that got sent into Ukraine have already engaged in fighting. Are you disputing British and American intelligence those Russia troops were still not move into the position to launch an attack.

There is so much BS contained in that article and the quotes it makes. Let me begin.

The Russians have pinned down the Ukrainian army in the field and are besieging their cities. Anyone who thinks you can waltz in a large city just like that is an idiot. The Russians will just tighten the noose and then clean up those places one by one. They have at least 20,000 Chechens plus the Russian National Guard and Army to do this.

The Chechens will likely be used in all cities with major embedded nationalist presence like Mariupol, Odessa, and Kharkiv.
Once the Russians control Kharkiv, the second largest city, and hold the East of the Dnieper then they will setup an alternative government in Kharkiv.

They will negotiate terms with this government. And then they can just raze the rest of Ukraine.

"Kyiv has about 10 days to two weeks of supplies yet, as Russia tries to choke off the Ukraine Capital, said DIA's Berrier. “With supplies being cut off, it will become somewhat desperate,” General Berrier said."

Perhaps the Russians should dam the Dnieper like they did to Crimea.

I doubt the Russians would land in Odessa proper. It is too hot to land on. The whole thing is a ruse. I won't tell you the landing site because it will be more fun that way.

This fund will make someone rich I am sure. But not Ukraine.

Except once Ukraine is under the thumb of the Russians it will itself get sanctioned to hell and back. Just like Crimea.

I am not disputing the above statement. I am disputing the below statement you posted. This statement is purely nonsense and propaganda. Russia has committed 100% of its troops but 40% of Russian troops have not engaged in fighting.

Western intelligence has been pretty spot on throughout this conflict compared to the BS coming out of Ukraine.

Donbas situation. Ok Southfront does have a Pro Russia lean but they do talk about Russian losses and setbacks. There's more vids of the LPR, DPR and regular Russian army online for Donbas offense, though they seem to be keeping it low key so far as is the theme since the start.

Plus I really like the map graphics.

I would say the Russians are comfortable in just partially blocking kiev and kharkiv and even Nicolaev for now. Meanwhile the main offense commence in earnest in the Donbas. The largest concentrations of Ukr troops (and some of their best) are in this blue area.

Also importantly, Mariupol has been reduced to just the city center. Russians control the outskirts and are pushing in. I think the NATO spokesperson is jumping to conclusions too early. If anything Mariupol will most likely fall in several days and I would qualify that as big progress.
