It appears that the northern front has stalled. However the eastern front is making good progress. The two separatist republics has controlled most of their demanded territory.
I doubt the Russians will push into Kharkiv before taking care of the bulk of the Ukrainian army pinned down next to the Donbass.
They will likely clean those forces and capture Mariupol first.
If there is an assault on Kiev it should only happen once the whole of Ukraine east of the Dnieper river is taken.

After Blinken said the US had given the Poles the green light to transfer their MiG-29 to Ukraine now the Ukrainians say they will move their MiG-29 to a US airbase in Germany. It is a political hot potato and they are just passing the ball to each other on who will start WW3.
The incompetency being demonstrated by the Biden regime is cringeworthy. I can't think of a single episode of the Cold War that is being handled as badly as this.
