No, there are plenty of reasons for Ukraine to accept a far worse deal. The first among them is the ongoing annihilation of Ukraine.
The Ukrainians should try to read about Soviet negotiations with collapsed German government in WW2. Germans wanted to speak with Molotov but all they got was a Soviet army officer. Now Zelensky keeps saying he wants to talk with Putin.

Russia is already stepping back on their demands. Russia is in desperate need of an exit strategy which also saves Putin’s face. But that’s not in the interest of Ukraine. With the enormous losses and the collapsing economy in Russia Ukraine has no reason to give Russia anything.

You are not being realistic. They are in fact increasing their demands with demand for recognition of LPR and DPR. Russia knows the US and EU would not withdraw sanctions even if they left. Russia could just carpet bomb Ukrainian cities with their Tu-22M3 if they wanted. This is just their conventional weapons capability without using tactical nukes. A single Iskander can flatten Kiev with a thermonuclear warhead. The Russians would not even need to use the strategic weapons. Just theater ones.

Ukraine has already declined, so not sure what is not realistic here.

The interest of Ukraine is anything that stops the ongoing annihilation of Ukraine.

Ukraine has every reason to give Russia a lot. You seem unable to comprehend what the phrase "ongoing annihilation of Ukraine" means. There is no Ghost/Cucumber/Cougar of Kiev coming to save Ukraine.

Russia can pivot their economy in the next 5~10 years. Can Europe actually fix their already pre-invasion broken economy and come out of it stronger without cheap Russian energy? Because an Ukraine will need an Europe willing to help them rebuild by either building or financing the restoration.

Ceasefire. Do not worry though. The Ukrainians will never accept.
Not until their government collapses at least. Notice how Russia now demands they recognize LPR and DPR not just Crimea.
The conditions for Ukraine will become more onerous as time goes on.
If its only for ceasefire then that's good for Russia. Also agree that the longer Ukraine waits, the harsher the conditions for a ceasefire
