An interesting contrarian perspective on the events unfolding in Ukraine. John Mearsheimer explains why the West (and especially the Ukrainians) should be concerned by the hypothetical scenario of Russia's defeat in Ukraine. He believes Russia's goal is not the occupation of Ukraine. However, if the West pushes them into a corner they will not hesitate to destroy Ukraine. Furthermore, if the West interferes to the point where the Russian effort in Ukraine ends up in a disaster and defeat, a nuclear retaliation would not be out of the question. This is a matter of life and death for Russia, according to Mearsheimer.

Just reminder, it is now the eight days of the war ,means now there should be lot of CGI video on the net ,95% from the USA side.


The Ghost of Kiew was teh first one, hastly made by PC game, but now there should be lot of preofessional one.

All of them to keep up the morale of the Ukrainans, and keep them sacrifice they life to hurt russia more.

This was the USA strategy during the Czech, Hungarian and so on upraising.

Fabricate stories and lies about coming help and success, just to make everyone life as miserable as possible.

It's illustrating American society with its military worship and war porn is always going to be pro military action because its people do not experience the consequences of those actions- perhaps the closest consequence would be 9/11- and it also demonstrates the collective cowardice of American society. Americans are pro war when it's someone else's ass on the line, but the moment when a draft is going to be called (highly likely in a NATO conflict with russia), you'll have an epidemic of 'bone spurs' amongst the american people.

I've often wondered where the UK's historical animosity towards Russia comes from; was it because of the overthrow of the Tsar and the Royal Family's blood relations?

I think people like that represent the minority as opposed to the majority; most people don’t care in my experience.
