So Russian air defence has been worse than the Armenian and Libyan militias? The Ukrainian claims don't add up to me.

What's the source for this? I haven't been paying as close attention the past few days so I may have missed released footage.

They paid for themselves with the fuel train they took out.

Even if they had believed that Donald Trump won the 2016 election on account of 'Russian interference',
no one stormed the Capitol Building in attempting to prevent him from taking office as President.

That's a major difference.

Videos released by the Ukrainian MoD alongside aftermath photos taken by boots on the ground. TB-2 wasn’t employed until a few days after the invasion so any videos before then were from the Syrian conflict or Armenian-Azeri conflict.

If you like I can find the videos for you or you can find them yourself relatively easy.

Russian TORs systems have been seen better inter-grated in battle groups and convoys as a result. The materials and size of the TB-2 make it particularly hard to find on radar when compared to contemporary aircraft.

We should note that given the state of the weather/fields(mud), the actual control area is somewhere between the maps provided SW and the quoted map source

Lets not forget that the practical control area, most probably means captured villages, roads, and 100m/LOS for each side of the road

The West, underestimates the control area Russia overestimates the control area. The truth is somewhere in between.

Honestly, it depends on how many troops they have in the country to establish solid control for this huge land. You cannot expect with so few troops to establish effective control of all these places.
This is also why there so many reports about ambushes behind Russian lines. Air assets for ISR are really needed here for Russia

X - Kadyrov Chechen Forces
A - Special Forces

Russian helicopters are typically painted grey whereas Ukrainian helicopters are typically green or blue and have two white stripes towards the tail rotor.
