Are there still 18 Ming in service?

Also, do you have numbers for the Type-073/04 and smaller LSMs?

I researched it in several sources, they all converge on the number of Ming submarines in service, what I did was filter each information, evaluate and compare, the conclusion I posted. Honestly, I'll even review and if anyone can also let me know, I would be grateful.

I still haven't done the research on the smaller ships, those under 1000 tons and that even includes mine ships that, at a given time, I will also do the research and include. For now, I have only evaluated the main PLAN vessels.

At most, there should be 12 Mings in PLAN service, courtesy of mandarin wiki. The breakdown is 7 035G and 5 035B.

Note: for 035G wiki still say 8 ships, but we haven't known which 035G got sold to Myanmar, so it should be 7

It'll be great if anyone can give you the most recent Jane's fighting ships edition, but my god it is expensive.

I researched it, the current composition looks like this:

4 SSK Type 035B – 2,200 tons (8,800) in decommissioning
8 SSK Type 035G – 2,200 tons (17,600) in decommissioning
